A Few of My Favorite Inspirational Quotes:

  • "It always seems impossible until it's done."

                      ~Nelson Mandela

  • "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart."

                      ~Helen Keller

  • "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's living. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition."

Mentor Appreciation:

Through my years in school I've had the pleasure of having support in anything I do. First off, I would like to formally thank My Parents. No matter which direction my academics carried me, they supported and encouraged me to keep doing it, and that was the very push I needed to continue. They've helped me through the ups and downs of undertaking the rigorous courses of the IB Program, and they're also the main source of how I've completed the courses. On another note, I would like to thank Mr. Park, and Mrs. Priest. Mr. Park had been my teacher for three years, and although I didn't take his class for my final fourth year at Great Oak, he still welcomes me, and asks how I'm doing. He's also helped me, and given me advice through the hardships I've had to deal with during my sophomore and junior years, which I am extremely grateful for. Mrs. Priest whom was my IB English teacher, always went above and beyond to make sure all her students knew that she was there for us if we ever needed her. Additionally, she helped me out, and lent me an ear, when I needed to get anything off my chest during both my junior and senior year. I would also like to thank the Cruda Family, and the Kee Family. They've taught me valuable life lessons, and also treat me as their own. They've helped me figure out that I wanted to go to college first, instead of military. As they are military families, they've helped me understand what would better suit me, and my expectations for my future. Last but not least, I would like to thank my counselor, Mrs. Santiago. She's been here, for us seniors, since our freshman year, and although we don't see her every day of our high school career, when we do see her, she's always wearing a smile and doing the best she can to help us out.

Thank you so much for guiding, and supporting my journey to the next step!~
